DRIVE SMART Virginia (DSV), Feed More, and Liberation Veteran Services (LVS) will each receive donations from Pocahontas Parkway to further support veterans, promote safe driving, and enhance well-being across Virginia.

Pocahontas Parkway was alerted on April 24, 2024, that a text message-based scam, also known as smishing, is fraudulently claiming to represent tolling agencies from across the country. The scammers are claiming to represent the tolling agency and requesting payment for unpaid tolls.

20th Anniversary DRIVE SMART Virginia Donation

To celebrate its 20th anniversary this year, Pocahontas Parkway is providing $60,000 in grants to several local nonprofit organizations over 2022. This week, the toll road announced a $20,000 grant to DRIVE SMART Virginia, which will be used to support the organization’s victim advocacy programs.

To celebrate its 20th anniversary this year, Pocahontas Parkway is providing $60,000 in grants to several local nonprofit organizations over 2022. This week, the toll road announced a $20,000 grant to Richmond-based Liberation Veteran Services, which will be used to help transport its veteran residents to and from their medical appointments at McGuire VA Hospital.
